Welcome to HC8 website!
November 16th: Just we are finishing with OQRS LOTW, close to 10k QSO already uploaded to LOTW.
We´ll start with Direct OQRS during upcoming days following the rule: first received, first proceesed.
Direct OQRS is a manual work where we must to check that requested QSO data match with our log, (if not, we mustto double check the log looking for busted calls or similar before to mark it as NIL ), to print you address label and QSL label and just after that, your QSO will be uploaded to LOTW.
I want to remember to everybody, that we arrived to home less than one week ago and this wasa +100K QSO dxpedition so you must to be a little bit patient. Answering non friendly emails requesting “LOTW instant uploads” from people who have requested a Direct OQRS, slow down our work on this side.
The Galápagos Islands, part of the Republic of Ecuador, are an archipelago of volcanic islands distributed on either side of the equator in the Pacific Ocean surrounding the centre of the Western Hemisphere. Located 906 km (563 mi) west of continental Ecuador, the islands are known for their large number of endemic species that were studied by Charles Darwin during the second voyage of HMS Beagle. His observations and collections contributed to the inception of Darwin's theory of evolution by means of natural selection.
